`3Rs,links to novel and special elements @ 5:49 AM

Things that are connected to the playground from the novel:
The Bridge(The bridge that Jesse made)
The Treehouse with a different colour(The real tree)
The Natural Surroundings(Trees, grass and bushes of nature)
The River(The water under the bridge)

Things Recycled,Reused and Reduced:
Recycled:
Bridge---Made from the box of glue bought.
Merry-Go-Round---Made from the cardboard recycled from an unwanted box.

Reused:
Fences---Made from toothpicks found at home.
Floor,Treehouse,River,Flags and Shelter---Some of the paper foam was from the IPW project.
Tables at the rest area---Reused from the bottle caps of Pepsi me and Dion drank.

Reduced:
Paint was added with water to reduce the amount of paint used.

Special elements for the handicapped:
Slope that goes up the playground---As handicapped people have difficulty climbing staircase,a slope would be more convenient to go up the playground.

Natural surroundings---As handicpas hardly goes out, they might be addicted to computer games and it would make their eyesight bad. With the natural surroundings,it could keep them away from computer and help improve eyesight. The natural surroundings also helped to provide more oxygen, provide fresh air and could be also treated as a form of shelter.

Rest area---After playing at the playground, they will eventually get tired. The rest area allows them to have a place to rest and provides shelter from rain and sunshine. The chairs are also placed seperately for the benefit of people with wheelchairs to just sit there without moving away from the wheelchair just to get to the chair.

Toilet---As the handicaps are unable to move quickly, the toilet was built in case they are very urgent and the nearest toilet is very far away.

`Foreshadowing @ 4:54 AM

Chapter9'The Evil Spell':
By looking at the title,I can predict that something bad will happen in that chapter as the word 'Evil' gives us the idea of bad, therefore something would be bad.

Chapter10'The Perfect Day':
By looking at the title,I can predict that good and happy things will happen in that chapter as the word 'Perfect' tells me that something would be perfect.
